The career, for almost two years, has been the source of hard-nosed practical responsibilities. A discipline of adhering to time and schedules, costs and demands continues into the summer, it will seem to take a break in August, until mid-October, during that time you will be reviewing your goals in life, but by November, it is back to another last year of career duress, responsibilities and also the growth in your status, the maturity of your place within society.
Children, romance, creativity are areas in which you touch those visceral themes of death, survival and transformation at the most basic levels. Over a long period of twelve years(starting from late 1995), these areas have been activated by a Pluto transit, truth to tell, they can be a not too difficult process for the Leo. It is a small daily and incremental change that goes unnoticed in it's slowness, except that people who see you only every few years will notice that you are gradually being changed into some new form, such as a new parent changes during the first ten years of family life. Intensity and vehemence, issues of control and power will appear through these areas.
Probably the most difficult area now for most Leos is the partner problem. This mythical person is unstable, unreliable, incapacitated or entirely missing. Your idealism in this area may cause problems. If you put a partner on a pedestal and they fall off, who's fault is it really? There are many sudden and unexpected changes in your partner(s). They will almost certainly separate in the next couple of years, if they have not already done so. Freedom and independence are the driving source of discontent. Free agency is very important and fosters a desire for innovative and original solutions to partnership arrangements. Any effort to curb this is likely to get the brush-off.
The probing and deep psychic compulsion area concerns pleasures, romance, children and creative self-expression and investments. Sports and gambling may also be involved. The first days of June will see some intense feelings around this cluster of interests. Generally this area works alright for you, however one of the meanings of Pluto, the planet transiting your 5th house, is dominance. It is connected somehow to death and transformation; and it goes very deep into the mind and soul. So tread softly.
About the 23rd of June, Mercury goes retrograde in your twelvth house. Sign no contracts if possible for three weeks after that date. Double check all communications and travel arrangements. Try not to get yourself into trouble over written or verbal understandings, especially about health care issues. Or about hiding your light under a bushel and working in the background.
Partners are still unstable, erratic, absent, needy or fraudulent. If you are really lucky, they may just be unusual, original, inventive and spiritual geeks. They still interfere with or are in some way problematical as far as your work world is concerned.
